Third LipoLaser Treatment

Today is Monday and I just completed my third treatment of LipoLaser in Dr. Boden’s office.  After I finished I drank 24 ounces of water then went straight to the gym for cardio.

Over the weekend I worked so hard to exercise (cardio, p90x core synergistics, shoulders and arms) and keep in mind my fitness goals.  I must admit, seeing a 4 inch decrease in my measurements helps to keep me focused.  I think most people give up on their weight loss goals because they DON’T see results quick enough.  In today’s world we seek for immediate gratification and if we don’t get it - we give up.  This is one of the reasons why I think LipoLaser will help so many people.  The results are fast and the measuring tape doesn’t lie.  You actually can lose inches in one hour session.   VERY HARD TO BELIEVE… but true.

I am not someone who weighs herself very often.  I actually avoid the scale as much as possible.  I think most woman can tell by how their clothes fit if they are on track or not with their diet.  To me the scale can put me in a bad mood.  That one number on the scale can ruin my entire day.  Dr Boden has not mentioned me getting on a scale once.  I really like this approach.

I realize that the LipoLaser machine does some of the hard work as far as spot reduction but it’s up to me to continue to eat healthy and exercise.  It feels like I’m not alone in working toward my goals.  The LipoLaser machine is working together WITH me to help obtain my fitness goals.  I can definitely use the help.  I welcome it.  I am a very determined person and have no trouble putting in the hard work needed to be a fit person.  But, there are certain spots I could use a little help with.  This is where the LiopLaser treatment comes into play.

Next time for LipoLaser is Friday.

Second treatment of LipoLaser

February 25th, 2011 by betsy

I had my second LipoLaser treatment yesterday.   I went into the office feeling good but not convinced any inches were really lost.  I thought that loosing inches after 24 hours would be almost impossible.

I completed the laser treatment and then 10 minutes on the “jiggle” machine.  This whole process took 1 hour.  Again, the treatment is lying on a comfortable bed relaxing.  I felt nothing other than the warmth from the machine.

After the treatment Dr. Boden re-measured the three parts of my mid-section.  I was careful to leave the pen marks on my stomach he had made the previous day, to make certain the measuring tape was on the exact spot as before.   Dr. Bowden carefully measured all three spot and Mika recorded the numbers.

The results:  I lost a cumulative 4 inches from my mid section in 24 hours (2 sessions of LipoLaser).  I was truly shocked and pleased.  I did my part by eating healthy, drinking water, exercising post treatment and the result was amazing.  I realize that if I hadn’t gone straight to the gym after my treatment the effects would have been less.    I realize that if I hadn’t drank so much water and eaten healthy the results would have also been less.  So far, I’m super pleased and can’t believe the results so far.

My next time I go back for another session is Monday evening.  Stay tuned.

About Betsy and why she’s getting LipoLaser

February 25th, 2011 by betsy

Hi all,

Welcome to my blog.  I am a 41 year old woman living in CT with my husband and 2 school aged boys.  I am a former neighbor and friend to Dr. Scott Boden and his family.   Anyone who knows me knows that one of my favorite things to do is to work out.  I do a variety of physical fitness activities including: running, weight lifting, kickboxing, bike riding, skiing,  urban rebounding classes, core board classes and P90X.  I am lucky enough to live within a couple miles of the Farmington Valley YMCA where my car seems to travel to on auto pilot each day :) .  I love that place!!   All my life I have loved to exercise daily, it makes me happy.

I am also a very healthy eater.  Not perfect but definitely a healthy eater.

That said, I have this layer of fat sitting on top of the core of my body (and hip area)  that I can’t seem to get rid of unless I restrict my calories so extremely that I’m crabby and miserable.

My goal through this is to get rid of this layer of fat around my midsection that I can’t seem to lose.  I LOVE to work out and always will but I would like a little help with this issue so I don’t have to starve myself.  I’m not willing to do that!

I saw an article on Dr. Boden’s LipoLaser treatmwnt and went into talk to him about the service.  I offered to blog for him and let people follow me and my journey.  Read on and please contact me with any questions on the LipoLaser.  I’m excited but somewhat skeptical.

My name is Betsy and I am a patient of Dr. Scott Boden’s. I recently went to his office to have a body slimming treatment with the New LipoLaser. Below are my comments and experience. Love to here from you and your experiences or questions.

Today was my first time experiencing LipoLaser with Dr. Scott Boden of the Aesthetic Medicine Center
1. 2 paddles were placed around my midsection. The paddles were left on my skin for 10 minutes each time. After 10 minutes the paddles were and then shifted slightly to wrap around my mid section. This was continued for 5 different placements.
2. The machine made no noise at all and the paddles felt slightly warm on my skin
3. This was a very comfortable feeling and I felt very relaxed.
4. After the 50 minutes were up, I went on the jiggling machine.
5. I stood on the machine as it wiggled and shook me for 10 minutes. My skin felt ticklish and a little itchy.
6. I then headed to the gym for 50 minutes of cardio (combination of Stairmaster and bike). I worked out as hard as I could. I was feeling a little weak b/c I hadn’t eaten for a while. The procedure works best if you don’t eat for 2 hours before and 2 hours after the procedure.

It’s now 4 hours post treatment and I feel great. I do feel a little tighter around my mid section and can’t wait to be measured tomorrow. I’m still drinking tons of water!
